How much is it to rent a kayak?

Our pricing information is located in the Reservations and Pricing page. Minimum 2 Kayaks rented required to make a reservation.

Where are you located and what are your days and hours of operation?

CCK is a mobile Kayak business meeting customers at the various launch sites in League City and Clear Lake area based on request or water conditions. Kayak rentals and guided tours are available on weekends from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. March thru October.

What are your reservations fees?

Reservations are available up to 30 days before rental date. There is a reservation fee of 25% of the total rental cost for rentals 24 hours before rental date to hold the reservation. A minimum of 2 kayaks must be rented to make a reservation. The fee will be credited to the total amount due which must be paid before arriving at the launch site. Unused reservation fees are only refundable only for severe weather conditions (heavy rain/high wind) but can be applied to a future rental up to 30 days from original rental date. What is the guided Clear Creek Paddle Trail tour?

The Clear Creek Paddle Trail is a 5.5 mile trail extending from Countryside Park to Heritage Park in League City and offers a wide variety of scenic views, plant and wildlife. CCK offers 2 and 4 hour guided tours. To complete the entire trail requires a 4 hr rental and recommended only for someone who is in good physical condition. Parts of the trail can be done from various launch sites in League City for 2 hr and 4 hr rentals not wanting to complete the entire trail. Guided tours must be reserved ahead of time and requires a 25% reservation fee. Expect to exert yourself, especially during summer months. What do I need to rent a kayak?

In order to rent a kayak you must have either a drivers license, state identification card or CHL. You must be 18 to rent a kayak or have an adult guardian or family member with you. Everyone who rides in a kayak must sign a release waiver and minors must have an adult guardian or adult family member sign on their behalf. We will keep the ID presented with the signed release form until the kayaks are returned.

What items should I bring?

We recommend you bring the following items:

-Water…water…more water

-Bug spray

-Sunblock

-Cap/Hat

-Breathable lightweight long sleeve shirt-wear clothes you don’t mind getting wet

-Towel-expect to get a little wet

-Waterproof case/bag for personal items

-Small soft coolers will fit on/in kayaks

-Expect to exert yourself
